Commercial Driver Services
Since my retirement in 2011, I have continued to drive commercially. I currently maintain a Class A Ohio Commercial Drivers License and carry an up to date DOT Medical Certificate. In the event that you have need of a qualified professional driver for Class A or B commercial vehicles please call and make arrangments for my services on a temporary, part-time basis. I will provide documentation for your files and a contract for my services. You will be responsible for having or renting a DOT compliant vehicle with the appropriate insurances, plates, permits, tax registrations etc. Costs and fees shall be part of the contract, a deposit of 50% shall be required initially and final charges shall be paid prior to completion and/or delivery. All airfare and return transportation shall be paid in advance unless mutual arrangements are made through the normal course of continuing business.
Non-Commercial Driver Services
In the event that you do not feel comfortable driving a rented Class B truck vehicle or a vehicle having gross weight less than 26,000 lbs, I am also available. Your responsibility will be to rent or purchase the vehicle and provide necessary insurances, adding me as an "additional insured", paying all rental fees, fuel and fluids, tolls and reasonable per diem costs. My services also include driving your privately owned vehicle (POV) or a vehicle that you may have purchased or sold from one point to another. I maintain a surety bond and will provide a copy of the bond as part of my contract with you as a "subscriber" to that bond.
